Case Study: Building & Scaling
Case Study: Building and Scaling Social Media at TMV Group

Business Overview: TMV Group is a boutique Marketing agency. I launched social media as a service line by winning the first social client, HAP Michigan. From there, I built the structure and team operations needed to grow social into a multi client department supporting accounts such as Great Expressions Dental Centers (26 Facebook pages) Faygo Michigan, Chrysler, the North American International Auto Show, and Wayne State University.

My Role: Social Media Lead. I owned strategy, execution, and team management. I built the workflows, documentation, and standards that allowed social to scale across multiple brands while staying consistent and brand safe.
Challenges and Objectives: TMV Group had no social media clients at the time, so the first objective was to win business and deliver quickly enough to create momentum. As new clients were added, the challenge became scaling without losing quality, speed, or consistency across different brand voices, priorities, and approval processes. The objective was to create a repeatable social operation that could onboard new clients efficiently, deliver consistent content and community management, and provide clear accountability through reporting.
My Contribution: I created an end to end operating system for social, including onboarding and discovery, brand voice alignment, content planning and calendar management, approvals and publishing workflows, community management standards, and performance reporting. I also created a best practices document that set expectations for content quality, platform specific guidelines, and engagement. I built a clear escalation process for complaints and sensitive issues across social platforms, with response standards, documentation steps, and routing guidance to get issues to the right people quickly.
How I Worked: I led a team and set clear roles, deadlines, and review rhythms. I kept execution organized across accounts by using repeatable templates, consistent planning cycles, and quality checks to ensure each client maintained a distinct voice while the work stayed efficient and reliable.
Results: I helped win TMV Group’s first social media client, HAP Michigan, and established social as a sellable service line. Grew the social department from one client to a multi client operation.
Skills Demonstrated: Social strategy and planning, team leadership, content operations, community management, analytics, escalation handling, brand voice and quality control.
